Science and Social Studies

We will have 30 minutes of Science and 30 minutes of Social Studies time per day.  Major Science topics covered throughout the year include weather, plants, matter, and sound.  For Social Studies, we will be utilizing the Second Step program which educations children about empathy and emotions, and other units include learning about ourselves, our families, our school, and our community. Basic map skills will also be introduced throughout the school year.
